Application for mobile devices to remotely control and check status of production line label printers.

Features include:

• ablity to run on many different mobile devices
• browser based, independent of mobile device’s operating system
• display list of available printers
• display list of available labels
• order to print given amount of selected labels on selected printer

The application was made for Unilogo company, leading Polish manufacturer of labelling systems. Project was created for company’s presentation at Poznań International Fair.

Technology details:

• Server: Windows 2000 Server running ASP.NET website on IIS,
• Client: Handheld Mobile Computer MC 9000 series (e.g. MC9090-G) running WindowsCE 4.0
• Printers: Any capable of getting commands through network, we used Zebra industrial printers
